Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Panashe has no accounts and never asks for your name. Your reading, your preferences and your devotions stay on your device. On the website, a passage you bring to Communion is shared with everyone, without your name.

Does Panashe work offline?

The iPhone and iPad app works without a connection: Scripture, search, word meanings, and listening all run on the device. The website needs a connection on your first visit. After that, it keeps Scripture on your device for reading offline, and sharing with today’s Communion waits until you are online.

How do I move my reading to another device?

Open Reading preferences and choose Create backup under Backup & restore. On the other device, choose Restore backup and pick that file. A backup holds your preferences and your journey of devotions and Communion. It moves between the website and the app.

How do I remove my data?

On iPhone and iPad, deleting the app removes everything it kept. On the website, clear this site’s data in your browser settings. To remove a passage you shared with today’s Communion or a suggestion you sent, email info@panashe.org.

Suggestions and giving

To suggest an improvement without giving your email address, use the suggestion form on the About page.

Panashe is free. If it serves your reading, you can give toward its upkeep. Giving is optional and never changes access to Scripture.
